I will never be far away
no matter where you are.
My heart will always be with you.
Never will you have to seek
to find me
for I will always be
as close as your heart.
There is a special place
for you and me
a place that will never go away.
A place where each day is made for you and me.
A place where each day becomes an eternal string of pearls
as we love and laugh through each setting sun.
Rising together each morning
with a song upon our lips
singing of our love for each other.
Through this eternity
and all others
to follow.

I will never be far away

“The Master’ Series of Poetry”
Five years ago, I was inspired to begin a series of poems called “The Master’s Series.” It was completed last year in seven poems. Each one imagines what additional teachings may have rendered by Jesus that were not recorded in the Bible. On this special Preview, in preceding the celebration of “The Risen Christ,” throughout the year, these poems are my gifts to my circle of readers. One of the Seven Poems follows this announcement.

This blog posting is an opportunity to honor both fallen soldiers and living veterans across our nation. Only us former veterans who served can understand the bond we share, in the Love and Honor that we render to our country. This blog posting is to honor those veterans who have served our country this Christmas season of 2013. John J. Rigo Served honorably from 1959 to 1963 in the U.S. Air Force in both SAC and the NATO Commands.
