“Standing before the doorway of Death”

As I stand before the doorway of death

let the last vision that I will hold

be that of you.

Let my soaring soul be forever imprinted

with memories of you.

Let not my journey be far

before at last

I am in your arms again.

Let my lips be sealed in a kiss from you

bearing witness

to our eternity together.
