The “WordPress Family” in general is a wonderful place to explore. What I have found in the six years I have been a member of this family with my own spiritually-centered blog is a voice that cries out for fairness and justice for all in a country in the leadership of its current President Obama has found a dark place, we as a nation may not be able to overcome. Pray for our country, stand-up for our country, vote the strait Republican ticket in November 2014.

The Greatest Heroes

“The greatest discovery is to find a hero within oneself that will choose life over death; and fight for hope through despair to possess the will to live.”― Ellen J. Barrier

People who have fought against the darkness of an evil force filled with mental anguish, hate, and suicidal thoughts and voices of evil, telling them to kill themselves and take the lives of others, won when they searched for hope.  Instead,  they persevered and snatched their life from within that dark world, and became respectful citizens living in society and making a difference in the lives of others, who they themselves were once like, have saved the lives of many others, by telling their stories. They are among the greatest heroes.

“Evil imaginations causes harm to others.

Such things do not dwell in the mind of a righteous person.”

― Ellen J. Barrier

Rick Perry indicted by grand jury on two charges. (click preceding link for full info)  I did not hear of this till later this evening.  It was at dinner celebrating our 25th anniversary when friends joined us and related the news.  Suddenly, I felt sick, deeply saddened that one of the finest Governors the United States has ever had, has to deal with this planned falsely filed charges by Obama and his henchmen and the low-light Democrat Party.

There is no doubt in my mind that this country has been taken over by the mob, the underworld and the cartel with the assistance of the Obama administration.  It explains fully why billions of dollars that has gone thru the hands of our government is unaccounted for.  Governor Rick Perry, you will have my continued support and prayers as a Texan who is proud of you, as well as our state.

I noted today by a television announcer that the population of this community is two-thirds black.  It is interesting how these folks find it necessary to destroy public property, steal private property and shoot at police to justify their anger.

It was also noted that a majority of the police department of this community is white.  Perhaps if the other two-thirds of the community took time to apply themselves in school, actually graduate from school and attend college, they would have been qualified to pass an Officer’s qualification test to join the force.  Of course, when one is in the third and fourth generation of being on the dole, one does not wish to apply themselves.  Stealing must seem easier with any excuse.

My observation with a question is this:  If a young white boy had a questionable shooting such as this, would there have been the white population of this community doing the same in rioting?  Many would call this a racist commentary.  To me what is racist is when a population use the excuse of their color to commit crime on a wide basis such as this in their community.

Perhaps cancelling the citizenship of these two-thirds of rioting blacks and shipping them back to their homeland would render them further opportunities to further burn and destroy the habitants of their home country.  This would be a better outcome for all concerned for both blacks and whites.  Much jungle brush could be cleared up that way.

“The Beginning of a Vision” copyright 2014, John J. Rigo, co-owner, “Silver Star Winery of Texas”. The foregoing link tells the story of a new wine tasting trail that is in its beginnings in East Texas in the County of Henderson County.  In its eight and half miles drive, it is said by locals to be one of the most beautiful areas in this part of Texas as a “sister” area to Cedar Creek Lake cities of both Mabank and Gun Barrel City, Texas.  Read on and read of the opportunities to own future growing vineyards along this beautiful road.

The sad news of the Death of Robin Williams, picture courtesy of Google Image Search

The sad news of the Death of Robin Williams, picture courtesy of Google Image Search

Commentary:  It is with deep sadness that I  heard today of the self-inflicted death of Robin Williams.  My deepest condolences to the close friends and family of Robin.

Even with a century of research into the causes of depression, it still stands as an incurable sickness of the mind.  A sickness beyond human understanding.  A treatment program that in most cases stands in the stone age, with many times shock treatments destroying parts of a human’s mind.

When depression moves past simple “blues” into the realm of prolonged depression, it goes beyond “bootstrap speeches” and enters the area of a chemical imbalance of the brain, that in most cases takes years to cure.  It is my belief, one is never cured but learns to finally accept the task of overcoming darkness, a daily battle.  A battle only won with the help of the Lord.

I have been where you are
a hell of loneliness and despair.
Had I created this place in my past
as you are now
where I was once?

I ask myself what pains cross your mind
as this day of many comes to you?
Do you hunger?
Are you without sleep?

The night only brings fear for your life.
Are you without anyone who cares
where you are this day?
Are you missed?

I too have been where you are.
From ashes of the mind did thou raise me
from a pit of worldly hell.

It was not my talents of mind
nor spirit that lead me from this dark world.
It was my prayers.

You never failed to hear me
when I cried out to you.
When I tried to end this life
you spoke gently to me
asking me to be patient
and wait one more day.

One day lead to another.
Finally the sun began to shine again
in your blessings and your love for me.

Thank you Lord
for giving hope to the hopeless
as you gave to me.

Thank you Lord
for loving me when I was without love.
Yea Lord without your grace
would I now be lost.

“Many times we must find and then lose Love to really appreciate it when finally finding it……. again.” quote John J. Rigo

Embrace your Youth.
The ticks of time move more quickly
than observed or counted.

Embrace the Love of your Youth.
The embers lose their warm and glow
more quickly than our memories will capture.

Embrace the Wisdom
that is bestowed upon you.
It will carry you
through the dark days
before you.

Curse not your regrets.
They are but markers along the road.
Regrets render the opportunity
to seek forgiveness.

Embrace your Lord
with Love and Worship.
He will Bless you along the road
and to the final place
of His Love for you.

Dreams of Revelations

Dreams of Revelations

I awoke this morning
with the warmth, taste, and smell of my dreams
still lingering upon my body.
My lips were still moving in formed words
of forgiveness, on my part
with a request for forgiveness of those
whose warmth I felt upon me.

I awoke with a joy
and a sadness,
beyond words to describe.
I felt the need to tell of this dream
this past night.

It was a dream of forgiveness
forgiveness of the past.
A rejoining of old loves
long gone from today
but not forgotten.
The joy of reuniting was pure
and without hurt.
The embraces were real.
The words of happiness real.

There was no bitterness
other than the sweetness of memories from the past.
We had long forgiven each other
for our past hurts.
Hurts rendered
by our own lacking of thought.

The joy of the moment
was all that was important.
I fought to hold on to those moments.
I did not want to let them go.
Moments of love, happiness
revisited from days past.

Is this what love and happiness is all about
in its reincarnation from the past?
Is this what the past-over in death
to another life, is all about?

A new life with forgiveness
behind us, and only joy before us?
If it is so, then I face death with hope and joy.
No longer will I have
the dark fear that use to follow me.

Thank you Lord
for giving me insight this day
from the visits of my night.
I face this new day
seeking new signs
of my Lord’s Love for me.

At times it would be nice
to have a pair of magic red shoes.
Just clicking them together three times
would do the trick.

Suddenly I would be transported
to wherever my mind of memory
would wish to go.

At this very moment
I could easily think of a dozen places
I would love to be at this moment.

Each time frame
would place me at a time and place
where I felt greatly loved.

Where there was a skip in my step
and a constant grin on my face.
I can easily bring to mind
scenes of such places in my past.

Skipping through a mall with her
like a school child.
Dancing with her
for the first time
with my arm around her waist.

Ah yes then their were those
first kisses
always soft
always remembered
always joyful
in the way those kisses went to my toes.

Truthly knowing what I know now
would I have taken more time
to savor every moment.

Time in remembering every detail
of the places of my youth
where my magic red shoes
would have taken my heart.
