There was a certain grace to the look of him facing death.
He did not seem to have succumbed to the idea of dying.
He stood tall and proud with a direct look into your eyes.
His bearing, his eyes, said many things.
His eyes said he had lived a life of honor
and without shame
as to who
and what he was
as a person.
If he was guilty of any deep emotion
it was to have loved too much.
He had loved many in his life
giving all he had to give
to each relationship
without a reserve held.
He was always the one hurt
the deepest in the leaving.
If you ever knew him
you would never forget him
whether for a few minutes or several years
in the sharing part of a day with him.
He lived as a man
protecting the ones he loved.
He loved in the best of circumstances.
He loved in the worst of circumstances.
I am glad I got to know him on a personal level.
There were days of doubt in knowing this person.
“Yes” as one said about him in a dissenting way
“He always came out smelling like a rose.”
You ask, “How did I know this man so well?”
It was easy knowing him
for you see
he was me.

“Hence my Lord, it is not my will that I follow, but Thy Will for the purpose of my life.”
I stand with courage in the shadow of my Lord.
The Lord blesses me with His Love.
The Lord protects me from those
who attempt to bring me harm.
His justice surpasses any justice
man can render their enemies.
My enemies are fools.
As the fallen Angel thought of himself as a God,
he believed his own strength exceeded the Lord.
He shivers in fear before the Light of the Lord.
I kneel in homage and praise of my Lord’s Name
with humble thanks for His timely justice.

1959 Painting by John J. Rigo, titled, “Mother’s Sorrow.”
The gate stood high and firm before the light of paradise.
It had been this way for thousands of years.
The only light revealed was the light of God
through its bars.
A sound of longing was heard
from the millions of souls before its barrier.
There seemed to be no hope for reunion with God.
The day of days,
the hour of redemption
finally came to this place,
beginning with a cry of joy
from these souls.
Beyond the gates a cross appeared,
equal to the height and width of the gate.
The joy formed a song of everlasting love
on the lips of these souls.
It was a song unlike any sound ever heard before
or since this moment.
The words, “It is done,” were heard above the song.
The gate was no more.
The souls of God’s creation were returned home.

“Tears blocking the sun of day”
I have walked through the waters of sorrow.
Tears blocking the sun of day
as I stumbled each step of the way.
My voice softened to a whisper of sound
in calling my Lord.
I am weary from pushing these feet
wanting to rest but cannot.
Was the answer I seek finally before me?
It was only when I finally gave up on me
and turned to thee
that the answer awaited me.
Only through sorrow and pain
can we know what Jesus gave us through His death.
Death of the mind
death of desire
death of worldly want.
Only then can we surrender to His will
and give up our own do we find Him
in the midst of eternal love.
A garment of light to carry us forward
so that we never will shed a tear again.

Embrace your Youth.
The ticks of time move more quickly
than observed or counted.
Embrace the Love of your Youth.
The embers lose their warm and glow
more quickly than our memories will capture.
Embrace the Wisdom
that is bestowed upon you.
It will carry you
through the dark days
before you.
Curse not your regrets.
They are but markers along the road.
Regrets render the opportunity
to seek forgiveness.
Embrace your Lord
with Love and Worship.
He will Bless you along the road
and to the final place
of His Love for you.

Many so called “Friends in Life are really wolves in Sheep’s Clothing.” Beware of those “I Love You’s” from Friends.
Lately I have noticed more than ever
how often people use the words
“I Love You” more carelessly.
Simply sharing the words
in their minds makes them
feel good about themselves.
The words themselves should carry
more meaning in speaking them
than the reality of the real emotions
of the speaker.
When relating those words to another
it should also mean that “I am loyal to you.”
The words should relate that “I would never
say anything out of your presence about you,
that would be hurtful if said it to your face.”
Friendships should not be about gain
of one from another.
Friendships should be about
an “Honest” sharing of Love.
So on this day
of the few allotted to us
think carefully become using
the words “I Love You” to a friend.
The question here is
“Are you also worthy of Love?”

Somewhere along my journey I stepped into a time machine.
I do not remember exactly when it happened.
I stepped forward in a strange land where a language
was spoken that did not sound like any tongue I knew.
The beings looked like me.
The planet seemed the same
but it was not.
There was a new God
in this land
in this dimension.
His name was Obama.
I looked closer at the eyes
of those about me.
Their was a strange blankness
in their eyes
an emptiness of spirit
I could not explain.
I eagerly sought a sight of a flag pole
to see what land I might be in.
My eyes sought the Red, White and Blue.
Instead I looked with fright upon a flag
all to familiar from a past election.
God did not save us.

One man destroying our country down to the “bone.”
New report says millions of women at risk of falling into poverty, economic ruin. The foregoing link demonstrates clearly what the gift of the Obama administration has given to the country in five years of his administration as President of our country. Impeach Obama shortly after the November elections of 2014.

A place that only my soul knows.
Beyond the sight
of once was my physical eyes.
Beyond the boundries
of once was a physical mind.
Tears long ago disapated
in the awe of creation.
My Lord has made a Castle for me.
Beyond the clouds
in a stardust place.
I feel creation itself
in a tremble of soul.
It is now too beautiful
for mere words.
Spoken from lips
that no longer exist.

I have been a concealed carrier and FFL holder for over 15 years. There is no doubt in my mind that with the crash of our ecomony in the latter half of 2014, many of us carry holders “will actually start carrying.” This is a great article on practicing continued safety with our licenses.
kR-15: info and resources for firearms enthusiasts

If you read the headlines you may have seen the press this week on Kentucky State Representative Leslie Combs. Combs was responsible for a negligent discharge of her Ruger LCP pistol while in the Kentucky State Captiol Annex. She was unloading the pistol and did not follow the proper safety procedure – which is the typical procedure for any semi-auto handgun:
- Remove the magazine
- Rack the slide
- Verify that the chamber is clear
Instead of following those simple and repeatable safety protocols she chose to pull the trigger without clearing the chamber and the result was a negligent discharge. It didn’t take long for the #bullymoms to call for Combs’ resignation– it’s a bit surprising considering the fact that Combs is a Democrat, but this is a reminder of the endless determination that the Civilian Disarmament complex has to accomplish its goals. This is NOT a partisan issue. This incident…
