Among these is finding the greatest of joys of life.
When we look to others to bring us that joy
we will always find disappointment with our lives.
The light of true happiness is within our own selves.
It is shared and nurtured by only one Being
and that is our Lord and Savior.
Do not look to your fair weather friends
or those who claim to love you.
They will only bring you sadness and disappointment.
Perfection in Love and Friendship is only found in God.
Seek Him, Love Him, and Worship Him each day of your life.
In so doing will you finally find
the joys of eternity
that are just before you.
“To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.” – Blake
It’s the little things that bring joy. Happiness is dependent on what happens.
Details just are and can make you smile. ~Regards, Dan

One of the sadest parts of advancing age is that many who we feel are friends are truly faithless in their friendships. Realizing that we must let go of those who are no sincere of heart is always tough for me but necessary for my own peace and happiness. I feel this poem explains those emotions in a very clear way.
