One can not have lived close
to three-quarters of a century 
without looking back.
 
On this day I found myself looking back
at my own journey.
I believe no human can have lived a full life
without regrets.
 
There is a certain unfairness to life.
Wisdom seems to be the gift of the elderly.
It seemed lost to me in my own youth.
 
I am not proud to reveal
that I have known many woman in my life.
Many of them I did love
in my youthful way.
 
As I recall them in my own life
I look upon them
in my memories
with a giving and gentle heart.
 
I have learned in life 
we will only have one true love.
A love that accepted us
as we were.
Loved us totally
without a reserve held.
 
If we let that person
slip thru our fingers
it becomes a sorrow………….
we will always carry.
 
It is down the road that
our lack of wisdom becomes
clear to us in our choices in life.
 
Wherever you may be my Love
this day
know that I still Love you
in my heart and mind.
 
I wish you
Love
Happiness
Joy
Peace
from a far-away shore.

“All Joys Lead to Him”

 
Life has many lessons to teach us.

Among these is finding the greatest of joys of life. 

When we look to others to bring us that joy

we will always find disappointment with our lives.

The light of true happiness is within our own selves.

It is shared and nurtured by only one Being

and that is our Lord and Savior.

Do not look to your fair weather friends

or those who claim to love you.

They will only bring you sadness and disappointment.

Perfection in Love and Friendship is only found in God.

Seek Him, Love Him, and Worship Him each day  of your life.

In so doing will you finally find

the joys of eternity

that are just before you.

A great power exists with each of us.
It is the power to change our very DNA.
We can restamp our very mind
our hearts
our souls.
 
We no longer have to be our parents.
We can be something
new
different
and more wonderful.
 
Our creator gave us
a wonderful gift
in having free will
we now have the power of creation.
 
In awakening this morning
the question to ask yourself,
“Do you love yourself
as you are today?”
 
Make today
the day
you create the person
you want to be.

Negative thoughts destroying one’s body.
I have seen the results of this in my own life.
I have seen it in my own past
as well as many loved ones in my own life. 
 
A constant stream of fear
feeding one’s mind each day.
Fearful thoughts
which are a constant companion.
 
Our God given computers
in the physical mind 
is a wonderful gift.
 
Our minds will program
any stream
whether good or bad for us
in our daily stream of thoughts.
 
Let your spiritual mind
which is your true being
take charge of the programming
of your physical mind. 
 
In so doing
with the Grace of our Lord
will you find a long life
as well as a life of joy.
 
It is our Lord’s desire
for each of us to live
a long healthy
and properous life

There is nothing more devastating
then someone you have loved beyond all others
tells you they do not love you.
 
Suddenly the person before you
is a complete stranger.
 
You can feel your heart breaking
into a million pieces.
 
You know you deserve better than that
from the one you protected and cared for
over many years. 
 
Why does life seem so cruel when one finds themselves
turning away from
the person they thought of
as their best friend? 
 
To have this happen as one finds themselves
in their golden years is especially cruel.
 
Truly life on this earth
can be such a sad thing.

Your lips move forming words of love.
They seem to be words without substance.
I tried to believe in the truth of them.
 
I now realize you do not look upon me
as your Knight in shining armor.
Nothing can be sadder than not having love in life.
 
Still I believe in love.
I have seen glimpses of love in my life.
There were moments that such love
touched my life.

I now believe love in its real meaning
will be with my Lord.
 
I now understand
that in spite of all its sham
life teaches us
that love indeed
is a rare thing.
 
It is a gift 
that is given to a few.
